Recently I was asked what the ON THE EDGE Fringe Festival does that is special or unique compared to all the other fringe festivals in the world.
Our answer is NOTHING…
We are EXACTLY like ALL fringe festivals.

Our staff gathers and celebrates a new season for the festival each summer; just like all the other fringe festivals. We are a cult of theatre worshipers each with unique life debts to the festival; just like all the other fringe festivals. We burn giant effigies of human beings and wear rainbow masks that represent both death and life as representations of renewal; just like all the other fringe festivals. I guess something that does make us different is that we do not sacrifice any animals or people during our gatherings… So that could be what makes us special or unique.
