The Crucible

Inspired by the McCarthy hearings of the 1950s, Arthur Miller’s play, The Crucible, focuses on the inconsistencies of the Salem witch trials and the extreme behavior that can result from dark desires and hidden agendas.

Hysteria takes the small town of Salem, Massachusetts by storm when a group of young girls begin accusing upright women in the community of witchcraft and devil-worship. As long-held grudges and covetous greed lead to even more charges, the line between truth and pretense becomes increasingly blurry and dogged determination to root out evil becomes more dangerous than the evil itself.
